Purpose Driven Fundraising ...Where everyone wins! |
|||
| Motivational Transitions provides supportive programming for educationally minded non-profit, 501(c)3 organizations. Non-profit organizations share the same challenge from year to year, raising funds. Through an innovative approach to raising funds, your organization will never have to go "door-to-door" selling candy, wrapping paper, or any other perishables that have been used as fundraisers for years. We provide fundraising support with a purpose and where everyone wins! | |||

The
Concept: The preparation levels of high school students and their readiness for success in college is consistently in the news, national, regional, state, and local reports. Are high school students being truly prepared for success if they chose to attend a college or university? |

Through the facilitation of service oriented workshops targeting
high school sophomores-seniors, focusing on success in college and
beyond, Motivational Transitions provides the ultimate win-win-win situation. Win #1: Partnered organizations increase scholarship/fundraising amounts with little or minimal effort and become a provider of choice for College Readiness Workshops (CRW's) in their respective communities. Win #2: High school students, sophomores through seniors, receive information and support for succeeding in college that is not currently being provided to them. Win #3: Organizations that sponsor College Readiness Workshops (CRW's) will be able to offer more scholarships to students who wish to attend the college or university of their choice. |

How it
works: Sponsoring non-profit organizations book workshop dates on behalf of Motivational Transitions. Then they complete the following items: 1. Reserve the physical location for the workshops. This can be a civic center, church, local school or any other environment that is conducive to learning. Most non-profit organizations can solidify at no or little cost, the space needed to conduct the workshops. 2. Recruit no more than 35 high school students to participate in the Saturday College Readiness Workshops. Workshop attendees can range from students at the sophomore, junior, and senior levels. 3. Coordinate and facilitate meals, which can include but is not limited to, a continental breakfast, morning snack, lunch, and afternoon snack. That's it! Just those three things! Sponsoring organizations are the one's who know their communities best. Be it the best location to conduct educational, informative workshops, to recruiting local high school students, and certainly on the best food to cater or the best chef/cook/grill master in your organization, you are the local authorities! Motivational Transitions seeks to utilize and compliment the strengths of sponsoring organizations in helping them raise significant funds with ease! |
